Black Walnut Mortar

This Black Walnut mortar is handcrafted from solid Black Walnut, a noble wood prized for its deep, rich color. Its well-proportioned shape sits comfortably on a kitchen counter or an open shelf, and the careful finishing shows the dedication behind the piece. Each mortar is individually turned on a wood lathe, so it carries its own pattern of grain and tone. It has been finished to be food safe, ready for everyday use.
